Why So Many Producers Want To Sound Like Pyrex Whippa

Why So Many Producers Want To Sound Like Pyrex Whippa - ProducerGrind

Pyrex Whippa has definitely secured his spot as one of the most influential music producers of this generation. So many up & comers search endlessly for the Pyrex Whippa drum kit and how to make beats in his style. There are countless Fl Studio tutorials on YouTube showing you how to try and do it.

We know this young producer is special and we are on the quest to find out the biggest reasons producers everywhere are stealing his sound (or trying to at least.)

Who Is Pyrex Whippa?

If you don't know by now, Pyrex Whippa is a Multi-Platinum and Grammy nominated music producer from Baltimore, MD. He quickly rose to success and caught the attention of 808 Mafia boss, Southside who added him to the team. We first met Pyrex back in late 2017 when his close friend and collaborator ChaseTheMoney invited us to a studio session here in Atlanta where they were both making beats and working with artist Lil Wop. We knew right away he was up next and got him on an episode of our Producergrind Podcast shortly after.

One thing that really makes the producer community tapped in with Pyrex is because he isn't afraid to show his screen when making beats on Instagram Live. Check out this video below of a time when he was on FL Studio cooking up live.

Pyrex Whippa Interview on The Producergrind Podcast

We were hype to be one of the first media platforms to interview Pyrex Whippa before he really blew up. This interview is from 2018 when we were first getting started with the podcast. It is still one of our fans favorite episodes to this day. In this one he talks about moving to ATL to pursue his dream and not being afraid to be homeless. He also talks about being affiliated with Boominati for a while.

Is Pyrex Whippa a Whole Rapper?

Yes, he is not just a music producer he also raps on his beats and releases music on Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud, etc. He is FIRE too and far from trash. When beat makers can spit too it usually makes them better and more versatile. Listen to this Pyrex song.
